The genie is not yet out of bottle. Regulators in China wanted to rule AI in similar fashion that Palantir does. U.S. President Trump is not interested in regulating AI as to uphold the freedom of multipolar innovation and to leave the Garden of Eden intact within American cyberspace.

This control model then introduces a new phenomena: how and will Government determine the existence of this plane while undergoing a special operation of its own?

FBI and Soviet specialists have tried in the past to form an opposition group from within US that would otherwise subscribe to the periphery of American Empire. But it failed precisely because of bureaucracy inefficiencies (see J6). Will it then succeed under AI model without interference from Government? And that it would somehow extend the Government’s lifeline?

The concept of controlled opposition has to be compatible within the reach of host’s political realm. In this case, we will use U.S. Federal Government as example. For the experiment to succeed, opposition in question has to be anticommunist Communist (out of many, one). But it has to be explicitly Communist in-group to deploy its anti-communist measures that Government would subscribe to and invest in. And U.S. Federal Government has to pretend to support its rhetorics as long as it is not seen as a threat to order and liberty.

In addition, maltreatment of the opposition by Government is necessary to mask and censor its own volatile Governance and relationship with the group. Propaganda is the main layer between digital Government and controlled opposition. It would need to be fractured first if it is to retain and develop a bigger propaganda mechanism. Only then will the “opposition” group grow as result of this new force of Governmental tool and reacted as precisely as Government wanted. The opposition become a controlled opposition as Government set further its agenda.

The question then begs: is the controlled opposition independent from or dependent upon Government? And would successive controlled oppositions be possible in a scenario where their interests are aligned with the U.S. Federal Government in times of uncertainty under a command economy?

Democracy in the age of AI is dangerous, whereas under Republic you would be safeguarded. Choose your opposition group wisely.

On second thought, don’t do anything about it: controlled opposition is an unipolarity feature that rescues itself out of Governmental oblivion. And probably a propaganda at face value meant to destroy the new order of multipolar world, delaying the timing of its own demise.
